Health And Safety Training

Authorized Providers:

Become an authorized provider and have your staff trained as American Red Cross instructors to provide first aid, CPR and AED training on-site. This cost-effective option allows you to schedule training at your convenience with instructors familiar with your specific emergency procedures.

 

Community Courses:

Take a course from America's most trusted name in CPR and First Aid. You have your option of taking your class online or in a traditional classroom setting. Classes range from CPR to Lifeguarding!

 

Continue Education Units:

Do you need CE's for your job, license?  American Red Cross offers CE's now and give you a list of what courses and how many units you earn per course.

 

Full Service Courses:

A Red Cross instructor can come to your facility and train your employees at a time that works for you! Daytime, evenings or weekends. With a minimum of 8 participants, an instructor will bring all needed program materials to provide on-site training.

Water Safety Instructor Update 2009:

All American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors (WSI) will need to update their instructor material by clicking on this Shop Staywell link.  The chapter will have a group orientation for all WSI's May 2, 2009, location will be 44 Quartz Hill (Redding Aquatic Center).  You will need to R.S.V.P. to the chapter 530-244-8000 or 800-909-3021 Ext 206.  If you are unable to attend click on the link above log on to Instructor's Corner (If you are new user create a login and password) complete the update with your new material.  When you have bought your new material, your name will be sent to the chapter informing them. Once you have completed the update print it out and send it to the chapter and after the chapter has verified your materials and update your instructor transcript will reflect your new expiration date.

 Instructor Reauthorization Link:

This link is for American Red Cross Shasta Area Chapter instructors who need to check on their current  reauthorization status.  It reduces administrative burden as well as conserve time and resources in the field. Additionally, the Red Cross is embracing a more environmentally responsible mindset and pursing "greener" method to accomplish our back office activities. 

As an instructor you will need to attend our Instructor meeting March 20, 2009 @ pm at the chapter to update your file and especially your email address. This is a requirement in order for the instructor to view their transcripts. You will need to R.S.V.P. please call our office and leave a message for Clare-530-244-8000 Ext 206.  If you are unable to attend, let the chapter know and we will set up an alternative solution for you.

This link will take you to our website, where you will need your LMS instructor ID# and a password. If you need either of these contact our office.

This site will allow instructors and instructor trainers access to their instructor authorization transcript online through our Learning Management System. By doing this it removes the requirement for chapters to print and mail hard copy certificates.
